10.15.1. Features of a design

All instrumentations of the car are united in a combination of devices. It includes a speedometer, the counter of the general and daily run (odometer), the index of temperature of cooling liquid, the index of level of fuel, control and alarm lamps, illumination lamps. Indexes of temperature and level of fuel — electromagnetic type.

NOTE The combination of devices with a tachometer is installed on a part of cars.

Repair of a combination of devices comes down to replacement of devices (indexes), control and alarm lamps, illumination lamps. In a combination of devices with a tachometer indexes of temperature of cooling liquid and level of fuel are executed in the uniform block therefore at failure of one of two devices it is necessary to replace the block assembled. In a combination of devices without tachometer indexes of temperature of cooling liquid and level of fuel can be replaced separately.

    

USEFUL TIPS Not to damage glass of a combination of devices, do not purify it with use of any solvents. It is possible to wash out glass weak soap solution or a special cleaner for glasses. During cleaning of glass try not to touch the button of dumping of the counter of a daily run as it easily breaks.
