10.4.3. Removal and installation of the generator

You will need two keys "on 12".

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the rechargeable battery.

2. Take off a generator drive belt (see. "Replacement of a belt of the drive of the generator and pump of the hydraulic booster of steering").

NOTE The belt of the drive of the generator and pump of the hydraulic booster of steering does not need to be taken off from the car, it is enough to remove of it from a generator pulley. At the same time it is not necessary to take off a conditioner compressor drive belt.

3. Finally turn out a bolt of fastening of the generator to a tension level.	4. Wring out a clamp and disconnect a block of a plait of wires from the generator.

5. Turn off a nut of fastening of a tip of a wire …	6. … also disconnect a wire from a generator conclusion.

7. Turn off nuts 2, holding bolts 1 from a provorachivaniye, and take bolts.

    

NOTE The photo of fastening of the generator is made from below the car for descriptive reasons. Turn off nuts and take bolts from above from podkapotny space.

8. Take the generator from podkapotny space.

9. Install the generator as it should be, the return to removal.

10. Establish into place a belt of the drive of the generator and adjust its tension (see. "Check and adjustment of a tension of a belt of the drive of the generator and pump of the hydraulic booster of steering").
