11.10.3. Replacement of the lock, latch and switch of the lock of a trunk lid

It will be required to you: a key "on 10" (the face head is more convenient), the screw-driver with a flat edge.

1. For removal of the lock of a trunk lid remove facing of the panel of a back (see. "Removal and installation of facings of a luggage carrier").

2. From within a luggage carrier turn out two bolts of fastening of the lock to the amplifier of the panel of a back …	3. … also remove the lock outside through a window in the panel.

4. Bring a lock drive cable tip out of a lever cut …	5. … a cable cover tip from a lock case cut also remove the lock.

6. Put the lock as it should be, the return to removal.

7. If the lock indistinctly locks a trunk lid or, on the contrary, unlocks with difficulty, adjust lock drive cable cover length for what through a window in the amplifier of the panel of a back take a cover tip from a cut of the case of the lock and rearrange it in other situation. At indistinct locking of the lock move a tip in the direction of the lock lever, at the complicated unlocking — in an opposite direction.

8. Establish facing of the panel of a back (see. "Removal and installation of facings of a luggage carrier").

9. If the zakhlopyvaniye of a trunk lid is followed by blow of a latch about the lock lever, adjust position of the lock for what from within a luggage carrier weaken two bolts of fastening of the lock …	10. … and, moving the lock in the cross direction, achieve an unaccented zakhlopyvaniye. Then tighten bolts of fastening of the lock.

11. For removal of a latch of the lock of a luggage carrier from within a trunk lid unfasten a clamp of draft of the switch of the lock …

12. … also disconnect draft from the switch lever.	13. Disconnect a wire from the trailer switch of a latch.

14. Turn out two screws of fastening of a latch to the amplifier of a trunk lid …

    

NOTE The right screw of fastening of a latch at the same time fixed also a "mass" wire. Do not forget to establish it into place at the return installation of a latch.

15. … also remove a latch.	16. If the latch was removed for replacement, disconnect draft of the external drive from its lever, having unfastened a draft clamp, and rearrange draft on a new latch.

17. Establish a latch of the lock of a luggage carrier and all removed details as it should be, the return to removal.

18. For removal of the switch of the lock of a luggage carrier disconnect from its lever thirst for a lock latch (see subitems 11 and 12).

19. Turn off two nuts of fastening of the switch to the external panel of a trunk lid …	20. … also remove the switch.

21. For replacement of the cylinder or a spring of the switch remove a lock washer from a cylinder shaft, having hooked it the screw-driver.

22. Insert a key into the switch cylinder …	23. … remove from a shaft the lever 1 and if necessary a spring 2 from the switch case.

24. Take the cylinder from the switch case.

25. Collect and install the switch of the lock of a trunk lid and all removed details as it should be, the return to removal.

    

NOTE Before assembly of the switch grease its cylinder with silicone lubricant.
