11.16.2. Removal, dismantling and installation of the dashboard

It will be required to you: face keys (heads) "on 7", "on 12", screw-drivers with crosswise and flat edges.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the rechargeable battery.

2. Remove the autoradio tape recorder if it is installed on the car.

    

NOTE In the absence of the autoradio tape recorder the boxing for its installation is closed by a decorative cap which removal is described in the subsection "Removal and Installation of the Control Unit of System of Heating and Conditioning".

3. Remove a steering wheel (see. "Removal and installation of a steering wheel").	4. Remove a casing of a steering column (see. "Replacement of contact group of the switch (lock) of ignition").

5. Turn out four screws of fastening of a cap of the hatch of the dashboard …	6. … also remove a cap.

7. Turn off four nuts of fastening of a steering column to a body …	8. … one nut of fastening of a steering column to the dashboard (it is located from within the dashboard) and lower a column down.

9. Remove a forward part of facing of a tunnel of a floor (see. "Removal and installation of facing of a tunnel of a floor").	10. Remove the control unit of system of heating and conditioning (see. "Removal and installation of the control unit of system of heating and conditioning").

NOTE If full dismantling of the dashboard, for convenience of work is supposed … … turn out two screws of fastening of a sliding coaster … … also remove a coaster … … then turn out two screws of fastening of a niche for small objects and remove a niche. If you remove the dashboard not for dismantling, the coaster and a niche can be not removed.

11. Turn out two screws of fastening of a niche for small objects …	12. … also remove a niche.

13. Turn out two screws of fastening of a ware box to the dashboard …	14. … also remove a ware box.

15. Open the left forward door and, having hooked the screw-driver …	16. … remove the left side cover of the dashboard.

17. Disconnect the cowl lock drive handle from the panel (see. "Removal, installation and adjustment of the lock of a cowl and its drive").	18. Remove facing of the left sidewall of a body (see. "Removal and installation of facings of salon").

19. Under the dashboard at the left sidewall of a body separate an antenna cable …	20. … also disconnect blocks of a plait of wires of the dashboard from the block of electric sockets.

21. On the right side under the dashboard disconnect a block of a plait of wires from the additional resistance of the electric motor of the fan of a heater …	22. … separate blocks of plaits of wires of an electronic control unit the SRS system (system of passive safety) …

23. … and dashboards …	24. … also disconnect a block of a plait of wires from the heater fan electric motor.

25. Through a window in the dashboard for a ware box turn out the screw of fastening of an arm of a heater …	26. … and three screws of fastening of the case of a heater disposed closer to the center of the car to the dashboard.

27. Turn out a bolt of 1 fastening of the left arm of the console of the dashboard to the body basis, turn off two nuts 2 fastenings of an arm to the panel console …	28. … also remove an arm.

29. Similarly remove the right arm.

NOTE Arms of the console of the dashboard are identical.

30. Open the right forward door and, having hooked the screw-driver …	31. … remove the right side cover of the dashboard.

32. Turn out three bolts of side fastening of the dashboard to a body on the right …	33. … and at the left.

34. Remove facings of forward racks at the left and on the right (see. "Removal and installation of facings of salon").	35. Turn out on one bolt of the top fastenings of the dashboard to a body at the left and on the right …

36. … also remove the dashboard.

For dismantling of the dashboard execute the following.

1. Remove the regulator of the electroproofreader of light of headlights (see. "Replacement of the regulator of the electroproofreader of light of headlights").

2. Remove a combination of devices, having removed its decorative slip and having turned out four screws of fastening to the dashboard (see. "Removal and installation of a combination of devices").

3. Remove a plait and dashboard wires, having disconnected its clamps and collars from a dashboard framework.	4. Turn out three screws of fastening of an air duct of an obduv of a windshield on the left side of the dashboard …

5. … three screws on the right side …	6. … six screws in the center …

7. … also remove an air duct.	8. Turn out on one screw of fastening of the central air duct on the left side of the dashboard …

9. … in the center …	10. … on the right side …

11. … also remove the central air duct.	12. Turn out two screws of fastening of a latch of the lock of a ware box …

13. … three screws of fastening of the decorative panel to a framework in the right part of the dashboard below …	14. … and six screws above …

15. … on one screw in the left part of the dashboard below …	16. … and above …

17. … and then separate the decorative panel of the dashboard …	18. … and its framework.

19. Turn out three screws of fastening of an ashtray to the decorative panel …	20. … also remove an ashtray.

Collect and install the dashboard as it should be, the return to dismantling and removal.

    

NOTE Establish arms of the console of the dashboard, having oriented them shooters, vyshtampovanny on arms up.
