11.9.15. Replacement of the lock of a back door

It will be required to you: TORX T40 key, the screw-driver with a crosswise edge.

1. Remove an upholstery of a back door and a moisture protective film (see. "Removal and installation of an upholstery of a back door").

2. Remove the external handle of a back door (see. "Replacement of the external handle of a back door").

3. Remove the internal handle of the drive of the lock of a back door (see. "Replacement of the internal handle of the drive of the lock of a back door").

NOTE It is necessary to remove external and internal handles because to disconnect drafts of the drive from the lock put on a door, very difficult. It is more convenient to remove the lock together with drafts, and in turn the detachment of drafts from handles requires their removal.

4. Turn out three screws of fastening of the lock to the door panel.	5. Remove the lock from the car, having brought him through a technological opening in the door panel.

6. If you change the lock, unfasten plastic clamps of drafts …	7. … also disconnect from draft lock levers from the internal handle of the drive of the lock …

8. … and draft from the external handle.	9. For removal of a latch of the lock of a door turn out two screws of its fastening to a body rack …

10. … also remove a latch together with an intensifying plate.

11. Put the lock of a back door and all removed details as it should be, the return to removal.

NOTE If necessary adjust the clearness of locking of the lock movement of a latch, having weakened screws of its fastening.
