3.13. Malfunctions of electric equipment

Most often at daily operation of the car malfunctions of electric equipment meet. For the objective reasons it is preferable that repairs of electric equipment were made by qualified specialists of car service.

PREVENTION Malfunction of electric equipment (short circuit) can lead to ignition of an electrical wiring and the fire.

If any chain of electric equipment failed, first of all check whether the safety lock protecting it fused, being guided by these tab. 10.2 and 10.3 (see. "Arrangement of safety locks, fusible inserts and relay and their replacement"). Replace a faulty safety lock. Repeated burn-out of the same safety lock serves as a signal for immediate repair of the corresponding chain of electric equipment.

PREVENTION It is strictly forbidden to replace the fused safety lock with another, bigger face value, or "bug".
