4.4.1. Replacement of a belt of the drive of the generator and pump of the hydraulic booster of steering

According to the recommendation of manufacturer a belt of the drive of the generator and pump of the hydraulic booster of steering it is necessary to change each 60 thousand km or 6 years of operation (depending on what will come earlier).

You will need two keys "on 12".     

1. Take off a conditioner compressor drive belt (see. "Replacement of a belt of the drive of the compressor of the conditioner").

2. Weaken a bolt of fastening of the generator to a tension level …	3. … and two nuts of bolts of fastening of the generator to the block of cylinders of the engine, holding bolts from a provorachivaniye.

    

NOTE The picture of fastening of the generator is taken from under the car for descriptive reasons. Weaken nuts from above from podkapotny space.

4. Move the generator to the block of cylinders to weaken a belt tension.

5. Take off a belt of the drive of the generator and pump of the hydraulic booster of steering.

6. Establish a new belt and adjust its tension (see. "Check and adjustment of a tension of a belt of the drive of the generator and pump of the hydraulic booster of steering").

7. Establish into place a belt of the drive of the compressor of the conditioner and adjust its tension (see. "Check and adjustment of a tension of a belt of the drive of the compressor of the conditioner").
