5.14.10. Removal and installation of throttle knot

Can be signs of not completely closed butterfly valve the increased frequency of rotation of a bent shaft idling and the increased fuel consumption. At not completely opening gate the engine can not develop full capacity, to be insufficiently priyemisty, in its work at the movement of the car breakthroughs and failures are possible. At these malfunctions at first try to adjust the drive of a butterfly valve or replace a cable (see. "Adjustment and replacement of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve"). If it does not result in positive result, replace throttle knot.
It will be required to you: a key "on 12", passatizh.
1. Merge liquid from the engine cooling system (see. "Replacement of cooling liquid").

NOTE
At the known skill cooling liquid can be not merged. Prepare the traffic jams suitable by the size which muffle hoses at once after their detachment. Loss of cooling liquid at such way will be insignificant.

2. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the rechargeable battery.
3. Disconnect blocks of a motor plait of wires from the idling regulator …
4. … and sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.
5. Disconnect a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve from the sector of throttle knot (see. "Adjustment and replacement of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve").
6. Disconnect a hose of a small branch of system of ventilation of a case of the engine from an inlet pipe.

    
NOTE
It is necessary to disconnect a hose of a small branch of system of ventilation of a case of the engine from an inlet pipe in order that it was possible to take away the airbringing sleeve from throttle knot.

7. Having weakened a fastening collar, disconnect the airbringing sleeve from a branch pipe of throttle knot and take a sleeve aside.
8. Weaken a collar of fastening of a hose of a supply of cooling liquid, having squeezed passatizham its unbent ears, shift a collar on a hose …
9. … also remove a hose from a branch pipe of throttle knot.
10. Similarly disconnect a hose of discharge of cooling liquid.
    
NOTE
If you did not merge liquid from the cooling system, in order to avoid liquid loss at once muffle hoses in advance prepared traffic jams or bolts of the suitable size.

11. Disconnect adsorber purge hoses from branch pipes of throttle knot …
12. … and the valve of recirculation of the fulfilled gases.
13. Turn out two bolts of fastening of throttle knot to an inlet pipe and remove throttle knot.
    
NOTE
Pay attention that connection of throttle knot and an inlet pipe is condensed with laying. Replace strongly pressed out or torn laying.

14. If when replacing throttle knot on new knot are not installed the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve 1 and the regulator of idling 2, rearrange them from old knot. For this purpose turn out two screws of their fastening.
15. If the throttle knot was removed not for replacement, clear the polluted throttle knot liquid for cleaning of carburetors, previously having removed from it the sensor and the regulator. Clear also polluted regulator and the sensor (it is forbidden to use solvents for their cleaning).
16. Remove oil and other pollution from a cavity of an inlet pipe.
17. Establish throttle knot as it should be, the return to removal.
18. Adjust the drive of a butterfly valve (see. "Adjustment and replacement of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve").
19. If necessary add cooling liquid.
