5.14.7. Check and replacement of the regulator of pressure of fuel

Serviceability of the regulator is determined by fuel pressure in a stage of nozzles on the working engine.
1. Connect the manometer to the toplivopodayushchy highway (see. "Check of pressure in a power supply system").
2. Launch the engine. During the operation of the engine on the idling mode pressure in a power supply system has to be about 300 kPa (3,0 kgfs/cm2).
3. Disconnect a vacuum hose from pressure regulator. Pressure on the manometer has to increase by 20–70 kPa (0,2–0,7 kgfs/cm2). If pressure on the mode of idling is lower than norm and does not increase at a detachment of a vacuum hose, replace pressure regulator.
4. If during check of the regulator of pressure the vacuum hose was connected to it again, disconnect it.
5. Squeeze a clamp of a hose of discharge of fuel …
6. … also disconnect a hose from the regulator union.
7. Turn out two screws of fastening of the regulator to a stage of nozzles …
    
NOTE
For descriptive reasons removal of the regulator is shown on the removed stage.

8. … also remove the regulator.
9. Remove a sealing ring from the regulator case.

PREVENTION
Replace a sealing ring at each removal of the regulator new.

12. Install the regulator as it should be, the return to removal, having oiled its sealing ring engine.
