5.3. Removal and installation of mudguards of the engine

The mudguards of the engine located on each side protect podkapotny space from pollution by the streams of liquid dirt rejected during the movement by forward wheels of the car and are not power protection of a case of the engine. And the left mudguard is executed for a single whole with the flap, its removal is described in section 11 "Body" (see. "Removal and installation of mudguards of wheels and flaps"). In this subsection removal and installation of the right mudguard, two-piece are described.

NOTE By the special order full-size power protection of the engine for which fastening points are provided in a design of the car can be installed by the dealer on the car.

Remove engine mudguards at their damage or for ensuring access to knots and units from below of the car when carrying out repair and maintenance.

It will be required to you: a key "on 10", the screw-driver with a crosswise edge.

1. Turn out three screws of fastening of a forward part of the left mudguard …	2. … also remove a forward part of a mudguard.

3. Turn off nuts of fastening of a back part of a mudguard ahead at the left …	4. … and on the right in an arch of a forward wheel behind the muffler of noise of an admission …

5. … turn out two bolts of side fastening …	6. … also remove a back part of the right mudguard.

7. Establish the right mudguard of the engine as it should be, the return to removal.
