5.4. Replacement of support of a suspension bracket of the power unit

The power unit is installed on two support with rubber pillows on the right and at the left and one support (too with a rubber pillow) fixed through an arm on a transmission case.

It will be required to you: a face head "on 14", keys "on 17", "on 19", a jack or the similar load-lifting mechanism.

1. You will hang out a forward part of the car on support or lift the car on the elevator.

2. Remove the right mudguard of the engine (see. "Removal and installation of mudguards of the engine").

NOTE For replacement of the right support of a suspension bracket of the power unit it is enough to remove only the right mudguard. For replacement of the left forward and back support mudguards do not need to be removed.

3. Establish a jack or a support under an engine case.	4. For replacement of a back support of a suspension bracket of the power unit turn off a nut of a bolt of fastening of a support to an arm on the transmission...

5. … also turn out two bolts of fastening of a support to a body.

NOTE The forward bolt of fastening of a support is turned out through an opening in an arm.

6. Lower a support under the engine so that the support of a suspension bracket of the power unit was released, then take out a bolt of fastening of a support and remove it.	7. Establish a back support of a suspension bracket of the power unit as it should be, the return to removal, having oriented at installation so that the arrow applied on its external surface was directed in the direction of the movement of the car forward.

NOTE Back and left support of a suspension bracket of the power unit of almost identical form also differ only with quantity of openings in an internal holder therefore pay attention to marking of a support. Get a new support with the same designation.

8. For replacement of the left support of a suspension bracket of the power unit turn out two bolts of fastening of a support to an arm …

9. … and to a body longeron …	10. … also remove a support.

NOTE Pay attention to marking of a support. Get a new support with the same designation.

11. Establish the left support of a suspension bracket of the power unit as it should be, the return to removal.

12. Before replacement of the right support of a suspension bracket of the power unit take off a conditioner compressor drive belt (see. "Replacement of a belt of the drive of the compressor of the conditioner"), as it complicates access to a pillow.

13. Turn off two nuts of fastening of the right support to a body arm …	14. … turn out two bolts of fastening of a support to an engine arm …

15. … also remove a support.

16. Establish the right support of a suspension bracket of the power unit and all removed details as it should be, the return to removal.
