Install dry one-disk coupling with the central diaphragm spring (fig. 6.1) on the Chevrolet/Daewoo Lanos cars.
Press the disk is mounted in the steel stamped casing 39 attached by bolts to an engine flywheel.
The conducted disk 40 is established on vents of a main shaft of the transmission and clamped by a diaphragm spring between a flywheel and a press disk.
The bearing 34 switching off of coupling is installed on the directing plug 33 fixed by bolts on a case 43 couplings. The bearing moves the fork 36 established on a coupling switching off shaft. On same the coupling switching off lever is installed to a shaft. The lever of switching off of coupling is influenced by a rod of the working cylinder of a hydraulic actuator of switching off of coupling.
The hydraulic drive of switching off of coupling consists of the main thing 5 and the worker of 27 cylinders, a hose 24, a tube 21 and pedals of the 19th coupling. The 4th main cylinder is connected by a hose to the tank installed on the main brake cylinder (a tank the general for both main cylinders). In a hydraulic actuator of switching off of coupling brake fluid is used. Adjustment of the drive of switching off of coupling is described in the subsection "Check and Adjustment of the Drive of Switching Off of Coupling".

    
USEFUL TIPS
In order that coupling served long and smoothly, do not hold constantly a leg on a coupling pedal. This addiction is got often during driving instruction in driving schools for fear not to manage to switch off coupling during a car stop. Besides bystry fatigue of the leg which is all the time over a pedal, coupling appears let a little, but is squeezed out, and the conducted disk at the same time revolves and wears out. Besides, though the release bearing is also calculated on work in the mode of continuous rotation, it at the pedal pressed slightly is under the raised loading and its resource decreases. For the same reason it is not recommended to keep long coupling in the switched-off state (for example, in traffic jams). If it is not necessary to start at once, to include neutral position of the transmission better and to release a pedal.
Pro-slipping of coupling can be determined aurally, by an engine sound. If during the movement by sharp pressing an accelerator pedal turns sharply grow, and then fall a little and the car begins to accelerate, coupling demands repair.
