9.11.2. Replacement of a forward cable of the drive of the parking brake

Replace a forward cable of the drive of the parking brake at its excessive pulling (impossibility of adjustment of the parking brake), mechanical injuries of veins of a cable or carving tip.

It will be required to you: a key "on 10", screw-drivers with flat and crosswise edges, passatizh.

1. Remove a back part of facing of a tunnel of a floor (see. "Removal and installation of facing of a tunnel of a floor").

NOTE The seat of the driver is removed for descriptive reasons. To get access to fastenings of facing and to adjusting knot of the drive of the parking brake, it is not required to remove a seat.

2. Lower the lever of the parking brake down to an emphasis, completely turn off and remove an adjusting nut from a carving tip of a forward cable.	3. Take a cable tip from a guide of the lever of the drive of the parking brake.

4. The screw-driver unbend two clamps of a cover of a cable …	5. … also disconnect a forward cable from the lever.

6. From below the car remove from arms on a body of a pillow of a suspension bracket of the additional muffler and take away down system of production of the fulfilled gases as far as it allows elasticity of other pillows of a suspension bracket.	7. Remove the thermoscreen of the additional muffler (see. "Removal and installation of thermoscreens").

8. Disconnect tips of back cables of the drive from the equalizer, having brought them out of equalizer cuts.	9. Take a cover of a forward cable from a body basis opening and remove a cable from the car, having extended a cable through an opening in the body basis down.

10. Establish a forward cable of the drive of the parking brake and all removed details as it should be, the return to removal.

11. Adjust the parking brake system (see. "Adjustment of the drive of the parking brake").
