9.8. Removal and installation of a pedal of a brake

The pedal of a brake is removed for replacement of plastic plugs of its axis and the plug of a finger of a fork of a pusher of the vacuum amplifier of brakes at emergence of a scratch, jamming or the increased side play, and also for replacement of a returnable spring at its damage.

It will be required to you: keys "on 14", "on 15", passatizh, the screw-driver.

1. In salon under the dashboard disconnect the stoplight switch from a brake pedal arm (see. "Replacement of sensors and switches").	2. Disconnect a pusher of the vacuum amplifier of brakes from a brake pedal. For this purpose passatizham remove a lock washer of a finger of a fork of a pusher …

3. … also take a finger from openings of a fork and a pedal.

4. Take an axis of a pedal of a brake the same as it was done at removal of a pedal of coupling (see subitems 3 and 4 "Removal and installation of a pedal of coupling"), and remove a pedal.

5. If necessary remove a returnable spring, having brought its unbent ends out of arm openings.

6. Remove from a pedal the plug of 1 finger and two plugs 2 axes.

7. Establish a pedal of a brake and all removed details as it should be, the return to removal.
